Man pulled from lake Simcoe

Man pulled from lake
A 45-year-old Toronto man was pulled from Lake Simcoe north of Holland Landing Saturday after trying to ice fish about 80 feet from shore. Police and fire crews pulled the man from the frigid water Saturday afternoon after a boy at nearby Albert's Marina heard the victim yelling for help, police said. The man had drilled three holes in the ice, which was only about one inch thick. The victim was transported to hospital where he was treated and released.
